Forgive
one another
(New
King James Version)
Matthew 6:12. |
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. |
Matthew 7:1-5. |
"Judge not, that you
be not judged. "For with what judgment you judge,
you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to
you. "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not
consider the plank in your own eye? "Or how can
you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a
plank is in your own eye? "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your
own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your
brother's eye. |
Matthew 18:32-35. |
"Then his master, after
he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant!
I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 'Should you not also have
had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' "And
his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay
all that was due to him. "So My heavenly Father
also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his
brother his trespasses." |
Ephesians 4:29-32. |
Let no corrupt word proceed
out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may
impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by
whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath,
anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And
be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in
Christ forgave you. |
Colossians 3:12-13. |
Therefore, as the elect of
God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness,
longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone
has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must
do. |
James 5:9. |
Do not grumble against one another,
brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! |
