Forgive
one another
(New
International Version - NIV)
Matthew 6:12. |
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our
debtors. |
Matthew 7:1-5. |
"Do not judge, or you too will
be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with
the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the
speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in
your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of
your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite,
first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to
remove the speck from your brother's eye. |
Matthew 18:32-35. |
"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of
yours because you begged me to. Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow
servant just as I had on you?' In anger his master turned him over to the
jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. "This is
how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother
from your heart." |
Ephesians 4:29-32. |
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of
God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all
bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of
malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just
as in Christ God forgave you. |
Colossians 3:12-13. |
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and
patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have
against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. |
James 5:9. |
Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! |
